The biggest celebration of electronic dance music and art is back to bring the beat of music and the heartbeat of giving to Tampa Bay. The 2023 Sunset Music Festival (SMF) will be rocking out at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium this Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-28.
This year’s festival will feature 48 acts performing on multiple stages throughout the weekend. But this “sensory overload of electronic goodness” is so much more than a concert. This two-day experience immerses festival goers with top-notch visual and audio productions; an on-site Vendor Village featuring curated retailers, general store, and food trucks; VIP tables in the exclusive Sunset Oasis area; and interactive experiences.
Part of that interaction for fans will be learning that this isn’t just an event for dancing to the beat, it actually helps to keep hearts beating! This eleventh edition of SMF marks the eighth year of partnership with ForHearts Worldwide. This partnership helps us to continue providing life-saving cardiovascular procedures and care to people in need across the world.
“This event makes a large impact for us,” says Laura DeLise, Executive Director of ForHearts Worldwide. “It is a major fundraiser, and we are grateful for our partnership with all those involved in the event for their continued support.”
The ForHearts team will once again be on the festival grounds, this time in the Vendor Village. In 2022, the ForHearts booth helped festival attendees keep their heart health in check throughout the weekend with free blood pressure and oxygen readings, while educating them on the work we’re doing ForHearts in need. For 2023, they will be hosting a fun, interactive experience perfect for the EDM beats of SMF: a hi-visibility, glow-in-the-dark picture station!
As attendees are snapping selfies and group shots for their social feeds, they’ll be encouraged to tag ForHearts Worldwide on their photo posts, helping us spread the love and joy for helping hearts in need!
Having photo souvenirs isn’t the only takeaway. Everyone that visits the ForHearts picture station will be entered into our drawing for free tickets to the 2024 Sunset Music Festival. One lucky picture-taker will win!
